Life is unpredictable, but as Malibu Boats Ambassadors Bill and Giuliana Rancic reminded us, the on-the-water experience together with your loved ones in a Malibu, is a memorable, special experience that you can always count on no matter what life throws our way. Read how the couple's message of positivity and their love for life comes together to create their own Truth On The Water.
HEAVEN ON EARTH ON THE WATER
Bill and Giuliana have had a passion for boating and being out on the water for many years. When they became parents to their son, Duke, they wasted no time introducing him to life afloat. "Duke was exposed to boating and the water very young; he's always loved it," said Giuliana. "I had him on my shoulders while wakesurfing when he was three!" Bill added.
Naturally, Duke soon learnt to wakesurf too. Encouraged by mom and dad, it didn't take long before his first big wakesurfing milestone came, as Bill recalled. "One of the greatest days was when he dropped the rope and surfed; I'll never forget that. The smile on his face and the confidence he had was incredible."
"Everyone on the boat was cheering for Duke; it meant a lot to him. And he remembers that moment vividly because it was a big confidence booster for him," Giuliana noted.
Moments like that are what Malibu Boats are made for. As one of the biggest wakeboat manufacturers in the industry, Malibu Boats is a global leader in helping families and friends have fun and create memories on the water. It's an opportunity that continues to positively impact Bill and Giuliana's life. "Having a boat is very special for family," said Giuliana. "Just being out in the middle of the water with no distractions, in a small space, together, where you can just connect, is an experience that is hard to find these days.
THE TRUTH ABOUT FINDING POSITIVITY AMIDST PERSONAL HARDSHIP
Giuliana is a well-known television personality, entertainment journalist, and entrepreneur. She is perhaps best known for her long-time role as a co-anchor of E! News as well as hosting Fashion Police. Today, she runs a successful restaurant chain called RPM while also finding time to manage her stylish 'G by Giuliana' fashion line.
In the early 2000s, Giuliana was diagnosed with breast cancer. The personal hardships she endured during this period proved to be pivotal for her. "It was a very tough time. I was lucky enough to have this platform where I was able to encourage other young women to get screened, and be aware of their bodies. That was a big deal to me and it meant I was able to the positive amidst that whole experience."
Bill agreed. "Giuliana's done an amazing job of crusading for early screening and has inspired so many women."
LIFE GOES PRETTY QUICK SO GET BUSY LIVING

"There's an old saying, 'Get busy living or get busy dying'," said Bill. "And I always say that to Giuliana. Like, if we don't do it now, then when will we do it? Life goes pretty quick. It's true. You wake up and you're in your fifties. Like, how am I in my fifties? It's crazy!"
"Yeah, fifty is the new 20!" Giuliana added, smiling.
Both Bill and Giuliana were adamant that the best way to truly live life, is to do it out on the water in their Malibu M242. "Malibu in my opinion is the most innovative boat on the water. When you come into this boat, it's luxurious, and it's high-performance. From fit and finish to the way they service the boats, and to the Malibu Boats dealers themselves; Malibu dealers are the best," said Bill. "There's nothing like it," added Giuliana.
THE TRUTH IS: LIVING A LIFE WITH NO REGRETS
Bill concluded. "When I'm 100, I don't want to look back and say, 'I wish I would've, or could've, and I didn't'. Leaving it all on the table and saying, 'I wouldn't have done anything differently'. Living a life with no regrets. That's truth to me."
